Soulshine Ministry is very excited to announce a partnership with Iron Sharpens Iron in our efforts to help the needy in Vicksburg, MS! After discovering Momma's Hope, an outreach program located in the heart of Marcus Bottom, started in Feb of 2023 by Amy Jo Searle(Soulshine Ministry) and Martha Thomas (Stop the Violence!) had been vandalized, Iron Sharpens Iron's chief executive officer, Alexander Nazario and Reverend Nikki Beavers Young met with Amy Jo and offered a venture to join forces.
"This is very exciting!" states Amy Jo. "Not only do Iron Sharpens Iron bring leadership and resources to the Momma's Hope project but opens more doors for Soulshine Ministry to be involved in both a local and global scale to do Kingdom work!"
Iron Sharpens Iron is an organization that works hands on with other local groups to provide a better quality of life through many avenues such as shelters, Impact Summer Camp, and hosting Celebrate Recovery groups but also have a mission to make a difference in human trafficking locally, nationally, and globally.
