About Soulshine Ministry
Founded in 2022 by Amy Jo Searle, Soulshine Ministry is non-government entity whose mission is to spread the gospel, support other ministries and organizations dedicated to Kingdom work, and making a difference in peoples lives. The majority of work done by Soulshine Ministry is done online and in Vicksburg, MS.
On Feb 11, 2022, Amy was delivered from drugs, alcohol, and homelessness by God and received a calling to begin her journey transparently as an ongoing testimony to what God has done in her life.
Her personal goal is to educate, enlighten, and empower through Soulshine Ministry, others about drugs, human trafficking, very real evil in the world, accepting Jesus Christ as their personal savior, and living a righteous life.
She believes being a Christian isn't about putting on your best face on Sunday, it is a lifestyle that requires discipline, dedication, and faith. Amy strives daily to not only talk the talk, but walk the walk and encourage others to join her on the journey of a lifetime.
Momma's Hope
Momma's Hope was launched in February 2023, a joint effort between Soulshine Ministry and Martha Thomas of Stop the Violence in Vicksburg, MS to provide for those in need in the Marcus Bottom community. This program accept donations of food, clothes, shoes, toys, and household items and then distributes them to homes in need.
Having been homeless in the past, Amy feels passionately about feeding those who are hungry and has made efforts to deliver groceries to households in the area, inspired by Ms. Martha's own efforts of cooking for those who are hungry i the Marcus Bottom community.
